Growing vegetables today is not what it was a generation ago. Back then the soil was richer, free of harmful heavy metals. The air was cleaner, the climate less extreme. And the food was grown closer to our homes.

At Terra Verde Farm, we believe new times require a new approach to farming: high-tech greenhouse farming. Through a controlled, micro- and macro-managed system, we produce fresher, healthier, tastier greens—locally and year-round—with minimal environmental impact.

Our greens are grown in a cleaner, more pure environment—free of harmful, industrial chemicals and dangerous pathogens. Every plant is nurtured with a precisely formulated mix of sun, water, and essential nutrients—for maximized flavor and freshness.

Terra Verde Farm is located in West Kingston, Rhode Island and uses innovative, eco-friendly equipment from the Netherlands. All our produce is shipped—to grocery stores and restaurants— no more than 150 miles from the greenhouse.

Feeding his passion for hydroponic growing since 2007, Nick graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Horticulture.
